Masculine

Sometimes I hear people say how hard it is for them to create masculine cards. I have to disagree with them. Maybe it's because I'm surrounded by boys in our household or maybe because I'm not the "girly girl" type. I enjoy creating these types of cards. Here's one I created tonight.

Not quite sure which father in my life I want to give it to. I like it so much I may just make some more. I may even include it in my technique classes. If you're interested in any of my classes, I will hopefully create a link to them when I figure out how to do that. There's also a newsletter coming out. So keep an eye out for it in your mailbox!

Settling In!

I know it has been a long time since I blogged. The move to a new home has taken a bit of my time up. I would like to declare that I NEVER want to move again! Our family has moved to a place we can really call home. I can't wait to see my children grow up in this home and watch my business grow. Along with the settling in, Brick Custom Designs gets it's own studio! YIPEE!! I have so many dreams for the studio but only so much room and it can't all be done at once! Here's some pictures of the studio in progress. I can't wait to start consultations for framing and hold classes! I promise to not be such a stranger!

Take Care!

Stampin Up!

Aside from custom framing, I create things with paper! Greeting cards, birthday invitations, wedding invitations, gift tags, candy wrappers...etc...To make this possible, I have recently joined Stampin Up! and so far, I love it! I have posted the current catalogs on my blog for you to take a peak at. Currently I don't have the capability of online ordering so for now there is a link for you to send me an e-mail with any purchases you would like to make. I'm also planning an open house in March, so stay tuned for date and time. I will have a table set up for a free make n take, I will be doing demonstrations, and of course drawings for free products!!!!

Welcome!!

I am going way out of my comfort zone by creating this blog but I guess it's necessary to be a part of these "techy" times to stay in business. So please excuse my work in progress. And be patient with me as I learn the ropes of the blogging world. I'm hoping I will get better at this and fast! (Any tips & pointers would certainly be appreciated!) :)
I will post pictures of my work soon! The angel picture at the top of the page is just one framing job I've done.
